Philodendron Splendid (Verrucosum x Melanochrysum)
Philodendron Splendid is a hybrid with Philodendron Melanochrysum and Philodendron Verucossum parentage. I love how it climbs, and the velvet leaves. It has a stunning iridescent sheen on the velvety leaves. It's a climbing hybrid that will thrive is given a totem for support as it matures.
It is a lot easier to care for than its parents. It does best in bright indirect light or filtered light. Use a well-draining potting medium with coco coir, perlite, and orchid bark if possible.
Water when the potting medium dries out. Make sure to water all around the pot and clean the leaves.
Philodendron Splendid prefers medium to high humidity but will acclimate to avg household humidity. However, for optimal growth, please give it some humidity and a moss pole to climb.
Fertilize during spring through summer and fall. Use a slow-release fertilizer and/or houseplant fertilizer and follow the manufacturer's instructions.

The potting medium is covered to prevent major spilling; however, some soil may spill in transit.
Heat packs and insulation are available for an extra charge of $5.00 each.

If there is an issue with your shipment and the plant arrives in poor condition (not due to the carrier), please take a video or pictures of the plant immediately (no less than 24 hours) and send them to info@plantthejungle.com.
Shipping charges are non-refundable and need to be addressed with the carrier unless there is an issue with how the product was packaged. Packages marked as delivered by the carrier is the buyer's responsibility. Contact the carrier (USPS or UPS) right away.
