Cercestis mirabilis is an epiphytic aroid endemic to the tropical rain forests of West Africa.
The leaves have a breathtaking pattern and are back-lobed, lanceolate embossed with intricate patterns of white and green.
As the plant matures it will develop prominent fenestrations.
Like many aroids, they thrive in an airy potting mix. Place in indirect bright light and water when the potting mix top inch dries.
They benefit from fertilizer throughout spring, summer, and fall. Use a slow-release fertilizer and houseplant fertilizer; make sure to follow the packaging instructions (less is more).
