The philodendron Brasil is a heartleaf philodendron cultivator. The species is endemic to the rainforests of South America, but acclimates extremely well to average household humidity and environments.

It has distinctive heart-shaped dark green leaves and light lime/chartreuse green variegation.
It is said to have been named after the Brazilian flag because the plant's color resembles the colors of the flag. We are not able to confirm this, but it's definitely an interesting insight.
- Light: Bright, indirect light
- Water: Drought tolerant. Water when the top potting medium dries
- Potting medium: Use a well-draining potting medium
- Fertilizer: Spring through fall with a slow-release or houseplant fertilizer. Make sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions.
