Hoya carnosa ‘Krimson Princess’ (Grower's Choice)

Hoya Carnosa Krimson Princess Variegata is also known as Hoya Carnosa Rubra. It is a variegated hoya with cream-splashed leaves and reddish-purple stems. With the right lighting, the newer leaves can be sun-stressed and turn pink. Not every plant that ships will have pinkish tones, as this is based on the growing environment and maturity of the leaves. You can bring out the pinkish tones by exposing to higher light conditions and humidity. 
 
HOW TO GROW:
Hoya Carnosa Krimson Princess is easy-care and can be grown in low, medium, or bright light. It tolerates low and medium light, but will not thrive or bloom in these conditions. The plant needs to be mature to bloom and needs bright light.
 
Water your hoya when the potting medium dries. It has thick waxy leaves and stems that help the plant store water. Therefore, be careful not to overwater it; hoya would rather be dry than too wet and can suffer from root rot. Do not stress if you forget to water for a few days or a week or so, they are very forgiving. If you notice the leaves become wrinkly then that is a sure sign it needs a drink. 
 
Hoyas aren't big feeders, but you can fertilize your hoya during the growing season with any general-purpose houseplant fertilizer or slow release and follow the directions on the packaging.
