Hoya parasitica (Splash)
  • Hoya parasitica (Splash)

Hoya parasitica is native to Southeast Asia. It is known for its fast-growing natural and thick, succulent-like waxy leaves that are oval-shaped. The leaves develop more prominent veining over time.

As the plant matures, it produces clusters of beautiful pinkish star-shaped flowers with a delightful scent (this could take a year or several years, depending on the environment.)

Light: Bright, indirect light (careful to not place in direct sun)

Water: Water when potting medium dries about an inch, can keep slightly more moist than other Hoyas, but be careful not to overwater

Potting medium: Use a well-draining potting medium

Fertilizer: Spring through fall with a slow-release or houseplant fertilizer. Make sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions.
