Philodendron bipennifolium Aurea (Golden Violin)
  • Philodendron bipennifolium Aurea (Golden Violin)

Philodendron bipennifolium Aurea is so neon it almost glows! The leaf shape does vary quite a bit, with juvenile leaves looking different from mature leaves, as shown here. As the plant matures, the leaves have striking foliage both due to its leaf shape.

The plant that will ship will be the 4" one shown in the second and third picture. The original picture is shown for maturity reference.

      HOW TO GROW:

Grow Philodendron bipennifolium aurea in a medium or bright-light spot.

Water philodendron bipennifolium aurea when the potting medium dries out. Take care not to overwater, which can lead to root rot.

Fertilize throughout spring and summer with a general-purpose houseplant fertilizer or slow release. (Follow the directions on the fertilizer packaging to know how much fertilizer to use and how often to apply it.)

Philodendrons also appreciate warm humid temperatures so make sure to protect them from cold drafts. Like many aroids, they need above-average humidity to do their best, but can acclimate to other conditions.

Philodendrons are not for human or animal consumption.
