Philodendron plowmanii (Grower’s Choice)
Philodendron plowmanii belongs to the Aroid family. The leaves are pretty unique, with a rippling feel and ruffled petioles. It’s very similar to Philodendron mamei. They have pillow like eaves that grow to be very large in size.
Philodendron plowmanii prefers a well-draining and airy potting medium since they are epiphytes; Coco Coir, Perlite, and orchid bark will do the trick. Check out plant accessories for the ideal potting medium.
They do best in temperatures between 65°- 85°F and prefer high humidity but acclimate to average home humidity levels. Water when the potting medium dries. Fertilize during the growing season; spring through summer and fall.
Use a slow-release or houseplant fertilizer and follow the manufacturer's instructions.
