Philodendron serpens
Philodendron Serpens is a very rare and unique climbing Philodendron. What makes the Philodendron Serpens really unique is their fuzzy petioles! They also have heart-like shaped leaves.
This is a pretty hardy plant that adapts to average housplant humidity.
Philodendron Serpens like a well-draining and airy potting medium since they are epiphytes; Coco Coir, Perlite, and orchid bark will do the trick.
They do best in temperatures between 65°- 85°F and prefer high humidity but will acclimate to avg home humidity levels.
Water when the potting medium dries out completely. Fertilize during the growing season; spring through summer and fall. Use a slow-release or houseplant fertilizer and follow the manufacturer's instructions.

Plant ships in nursery pot. Decorative pot is not included.
We do not ship to Hawaii or Puerto Rico. USPS and UPS are our preferred carriers. All plants are packaged and handled with love.
The potting medium is covered to prevent major spilling, however, some soil may spill in transit.
Heat packs and insulation are available for an extra charge of $5.00 each upon request.

If there is an issue with your shipment and the plant arrives in poor condition (not due to the carrier), please take a video or pictures of the plant immediately (no less than 24 hours) and send them to info@plantthejungle.com.
Shipping charges are non-refundable and need to be addressed with the carrier unless there is an issue with how the product was packaged. Packages marked as delivered by the carrier is the buyer's responsibility. Contact the carrier (USPS or UPS) right away.
